Olivia Sweeney, Project Manager
How has having a career change contributed to your overall career development at LBR?
Taking a short break from LBR was a big decision, but one that ultimately helped me understand what I truly wanted from my career. Returning to LBR as a Project Manager in the Strategy team was a significant step forward for my career development. I’ve been able to build on the relationships and business knowledge I’d already developed, while stepping into a role that challenges me. It’s boosted my confidence, helped me grow new skills, and given me a much clearer sense of direction in my career.
What do you enjoy about your current role?
I enjoy the variety my role brings, every week there is a new focus, and no two projects are the same. I get to work with so many talented people across the business, building a better understanding and appreciation for many departments.
What makes our culture stand out?
What really stands out to me is how supportive the culture is. People genuinely listen and care, and that was especially clear when I returned to the business. I felt welcomed back, and there was a real effort to understand what I wanted from my career and how the business could support that. It’s a culture where people are encouraged to grow, and where your voice is heard.
I’ve made so many great friends here, there’s a real sense of community that makes coming to work enjoyable and rewarding.

What do you think about brands?
I think that the world has been brand driven for a long time and ultimately brands SELL. The buying psyche likes to be associated with brand image, brand reputation, brand strength and brand quality. Brand is everything.
